We all have dreams of being at the pointy end of coffee. Without really knowing it on daily basis we a dreaming about specialty coffee - micro lot single origins - brewed coffee - ExYield, TDS, Dose weight, Beverage weight (the numbers) - Clovers - Uber boilers - vest, ties, hats and mustaches.
In reality our business has evolved into City Coffee - coffee that cuts thru 12oz of milk and stands alone black add sugar and coco if thats how you roll - computerization and automation of roasting - if it taste good we don't care about the numbers - t shirts and vans.
We are not out to compete with the next new coffee house, brew bar or coffee geek we just have a passion for delivering the best possible product with the resources, skills and knowledge available to us whilst running a viable business.
And yes we do feature specialty coffee and micro lot single origins!

Man&Machine is a free, independently published zine by Snack On now on show in store. This issue hones in on Track Bike culture, which is enjoying a renaissance globally with a strong appreciation growing in Brisbane. It is attracting a wide range of individuals with diverse stories. Not every rider is a hardened messenger or edgy hipster, the stories may surprise you and so will one of the riders featured (yours truly).

Kindy Fete
The Tarragindi War Memorial Kindy Fete was supported by Bro Town on Sunday. Bart was hard at work as head barista at the coffee stall raising funds for the redevelopment of the playground. This act of kindness has inspired us to possibly setting up a coffee stall under the Brother banner for not for profit organizations to utilize at fund raising events. It will be all about giving back to the local community.
