A little coffee history...When coffee was first introduced into England in the late 1600s, it was largely drunk by men only, and in coffeehouses rather than at home. Doctors welcomed this as a substitute for drinking alcohol in tavens, but married women were not so happy with the new drink. In 1674 a group of London women put out "The Women's Petition Against Coffee."
The Women's Petition Against Coffee
Representing to Publick Consideration the Grand Inconveniencies accruing to their Sex from the Excessive Use of that drying, Enfeebling Liquor.Presented to the Right Honorable the Keepers of the Liberty of Venus.By a Well-willerLondon, Printed 1674.
We thought we would give you the oppurtunity to respond To the Right Honorable the Keepers of the Liberties of Venus, there will be a little something for the best response.

Employee of the month (not) ...
Senior Barista Extraordinaire
Luka Matuzic
What is your favorite drink? Ristretto - Not some under extracted brew, it must be full flavored sugary goodness, the technique should be from the heart.
What is on this season? Cajun - possibly the best seasoning ever.
Who inspires you and why? No one, l am driven by my own desires.
A little about yourself? l am to secretive and selfish to let anyone know who l really am.

Walking out the door...Nothing replaces an espresso machine but for those who can't swing by before work for coffee the AEROPRESS just maybe the answer.
It is an entirely new way to make coffee...
• Water and grounds are mixed together for ten seconds.
• Then gentle air pressure pushes the mix through a micro-filter in 20 seconds.
• The total brewing time of only 30 seconds results in exceptionally smooth flavor.
