Saskia Falls featuring Brother Espresso

Brisbane Festival 2010 presents UNDER THE RADAR.
SASKIA FALLS
Landing home after years away, Saskia is looking for the placewhere she can be, belong, breathe. Memories tangle with the dislocation of her return, as Saskia confides, chats and flicks through stories in a performance that reveals an observer, an outsider, a fellow traveller, a woman searching for home.
Don’t miss this performance by Vitalstatistix Theatre Company. The show is quirky, intimate (for an audience of only 25 per performance) and has themes of family, travel, storytelling. It has received great reviews in Adelaide.

Poster Wall...

Man&Machine is a free, independently published zine by Snack On now on show in store. This issue hones in on Track Bike culture, which is enjoying a renaissance globally with a strong appreciation growing in Brisbane. It is attracting a wide range of individuals with diverse stories. Not every rider is a hardened messenger or edgy hipster, the stories may surprise you and so will one of the riders featured (yours truly).

Kindy Fete

The Tarragindi War Memorial Kindy Fete was supported by Bro Town on Sunday. Bart was hard at work as head barista at the coffee stall raising funds for the redevelopment of the playground. This act of kindness has inspired us to possibly setting up a coffee stall under the Brother banner for not for profit organizations to utilize at fund raising events. It will be all about giving back to the local community.
