Tiles displaced, floor patched, grinded and three coats of floor seal just to list some of the work done this week (thanks Al for all your hard work).

Hi Guys
None of you know me, but no doubt some of you have heard about me (Dad (LG) and Nan have been trying to keep me a secret but they really suck at it).
l had my 1st photo's taken yesterday so l thought had better introduce myself.
Mum has been a bit tired but l think we are now over the worst of it as l am now 12 weeks and 6 days old.

Under Construction
The store is coming along nicely, we have been busy gutting the entire space and construction is set to begin next week. For the record: Opening is due for January some time stay posted.

Teaming up with our brand spanking new ECM Veneziano A3 coffee machine will be a Mazzer Major grinder, yes we are really into our toys.

Especially when your shopping list looks something like this:
Not necessarily “retro”, but the old, well loved, shabby feel etc. Yes l have been checking out places for items to furnish Brother Espresso. Tables, chairs, lamps, a couch and the list goes on.

Wanted: Stencil Artist
We are calling for artists to stencil a large feature wall (this space will get plenty exposure and it is our intension to exhibit art with regular openings).

Tasting Tasting Tasting Tasting
Friday we spent the day with our roaster, it was a fantastic opportunity to work with him to develop our blends. The blends will be a combination of different regions and roast profiles (something for everyone). We may not have a roaster in-house but having this kind of access we might as well have.

Weapon of Choice
After many hours of reseach and some great advice from industry leaders it looks like the ECM Veneziano A3 is going to be our weapon of choice.

Brisbane's Newest Coffee Label
Brother Espresso has appointed a local roaster to take on our roasting duties. Brother Espresso will strive to source the best beans and roast those beans with much care for your daily consumption. Brother Espresso will be developing exclusive blends and single origin coffee to suit everyone's taste.

Home Sweet Home
It is official Brother Espresso now has a home, 127 Margaret Steet Brisbane Queensland. Its certain rustic charm will make for an ideal meeting place delivering great espresso and healthy food. We look forward to opening in Jan 07.

Barista Position
Brother Espresso is currently in the process of establishing a specialty espresso bar in Brisbane.
We are currently looking for a motivated barista experienced in espresso prep etc. The position will include flexible hours and above award wage. The right person will be actively involved and have input into the setup of the business.
It would not be an immediate start but things are happening quite fast. We believe the location we are in the process of securing has real potential and our vision for the business is very exciting.
